Eligibility

Each applicant must be a student in any Monterey County educational institution recognized by the State of CA (or home schooled) and enrolled in grades 6-12 at the time of qualifying for the Fair. Students in grades 6-8 participate in the Jr. Division, while students in 9-12 participate in the Sr. Division.

SRC Requirements (What's SRC?)

Follows California State Science Fair regulations for research involving human subjects, tissue sample sources (including dna source materials), and humane treatment of live vertebrate animals. See http://www.usc.edu/CSSF/Info_Genl/Research_Regs.html
